Hi Mad Goat Lady,

Hope it is received with the same generosity of spirit! Maybe it can be a sort of olive branch to get them talking about the reason for the rift... Good luck with it and let me know how it works out.

Just wanted to let you know that thanks to your post making me chew things over a little, I have decided to be the bigger person and send flowers to someone that I haven't spoken to for quite some time due to them constantly interfering in my life, as it is their birthday tomorrow. I was hesitant as I don't want it to appear to be an invitation to them to continue with their unwanted advice ..but oh well we will see..:) Ooops I shouldn't be adding on should I?

Hi Mad Goat Lady,

This has been on my mind lately too.
I find it hard to say sorry - especially when I really think that I am in the right - but my husband finds it impossible! I've explained that us gals don't want to be with Mr Right All of the Time, but after our last "difference of opinion" it got me thinking about apologies - I really do believe there is an art to it!
Thanks as always, for your great comment!

Simone..it is like you are reading my mind with the subjects of your posts lately.

I am having trouble moving forward in a relationship (daughter) and your article has as usual given me lots of food for thought.
