Who Are We?

Simone and Mandy Martin are sisters who hail from Perth in Western Australia.

Simone:

Simone is the author of the Outfit Inspiration eBooks and views them as “a great way to share my thoughts and beliefs with other women without coming across as an agony aunt. I really enjoy it when a reader tells me that the woman in the story is ‘just like me!’ I think if you can relate to someone else’s journey, it makes it easier to reflect upon – and ultimately change – your own.”

Simone has experience in both the secondary teaching and corporate environments and is a qualified teacher and workplace trainer and an experienced technical writer. After completing a successful teaching career in both Perth and London, she worked in international education as a project manager.

As a trainer and technical writer, Simone has worked extensively in a variety of industries, providing training in the areas of people management, process improvement, IT enhancements and customer relationship development.

Mandy:

Mandy collaborates with Simone on much of the eBook concept development and editing processes, and in the creation of the free inspirational tools on the website.

“Traditionally I work in a very male-dominate world. I am loving every minute of this opportunity to focus my skills, experience and attention towards the inspiration and personal development of women.”

Mandy is a Management Consultant, and has more than 15 years of experience in the hands-on management of organisational change. Mandy has consulted to over 35 organisations in over 60 projects, both locally and interstate in mining, oil and gas, community and government health, retail banking and financial services, education and training and public and corporate utilities.
